If you have a toddler who is constantly asking for presents, why not let him buy his own. Having your child help out with chores and giving him a small allowance, i.e. 25 cents, is a great way to teach the value of money and hard work. Whether it’s cleaning up his room, helping to unload the dishwasher or feeding the dog, your little one will be so excited to buy something all by himself, knowing he helped Mommy in the process. It’s also fun to create a wallet using an envelope, stickers and markers, and letting your child hand the cashier the money on his own. It’s definitely a win win for everyone!
