I am so honored to be the featured mom over at GoodEnoughMother.com, where I discuss my life lessons.
Here’s a peek at my interview:
*Are you happy at the moment?
Yes, I can honestly say I am truly happy at this moment in my life. I have three beautiful children who are healthy and happy, a wonderful supportive husband, a career that I am building that is also my passion, wonderful friends, and incredible family near and far. I feel very blessed and have learned in my 38 years of life, not to sweat the small stuff. There are so many people in the world suffering and my problems are minor and insignificant in comparison to others.
*If you could go back and say anything to your 16-year-old self now – what would it be?
Wow, great question! I would tell my 16-year-old self to be confident and not to change for anybody.
*What’s the most important thing you’ve learned this year?
No matter what roadblocks I may have encountered, I have learned how to use those barriers to motivate myself to work even harder. I heard the word ‘no’ many times this year and instead of giving up, I got inspired to keep on pounding away so I could hear ‘yes’.
What’s my secret to happiness? What are my biggest regrets? What are the most important lessons I have taught my kids?
