Get a Hair Cut at Hair Cuttery and Give Back:

haur cuttery 1Can you believe it’s already time to get the kids ready to head back to school?

Summer sure did fly by, as it always does.  One of the many items on my back-to-school check list is of course haircuts for my kids.  This year, I will be taking them to Hair Cuttery,  the largest family-owned and operated chain of hair salons in the country, and you will definitely want to follow my lead.  Why you ask?

Mommy Masters® is absolutely thrilled to partner with Hair Cuttery to help spread the word about their Back to School Share-A-Haircut program.

From August 1-15, for every child up to age 18 who purchases a haircut at one of Hair Cuttery’s almost 900 salons, one free haircut certificate will be donated to an underprivileged child in that same community.

I am sharing this information with all of you for many reasons:

  • Giving back is so important and we need to do more of it.
  • Every child deserves to have a fresh start to the new school year and that includes a hair cut.
  • Hair Cuttery has so many locations, that every one of you can participate and help a child in need.
  • You can give back while getting crossing off something on your back-to-school list.
  • A great opportunity to educate your child about helping those less fortunate than them.
  • Your child is actually participating and can feel proud when they look in the mirror at their new haircut, knowing they helped another child smile and feel good about themselves.

This will be the 16th year the program has been active and Hair Cuttery is determined to donate tens of thousands of free haircut certificates, which are distributed with the help of more than 100 local government and non-profit organizations.  To date, the Share-A-Haircut program has reached more than 925,000 children with haircut certificate donations, valued at $16.65 million.  Can you say, “WOW”?

Hair Cuttery has an established history of charitable giving, supporting a range of local and national causes, including St. Baldrick’s Foundation, American Red Cross, The National Network to End Domestic Violence, American Cancer Society, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Girls on the Run.  Learn more about their causes.

Now you know why I am so excited to be a part of this awesome campaign and to be able to educate all of you.

It’s really a no brainer.  Find a Hair Cuttery location now until August 15th, get a quality haircut along with great service at a fraction of the cost and get your kids ready for school while helping other children do the same.  It’s a win-win for sure!
